![]() Mary is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Indiana University School of Law at Bloomington. She practiced law for several years in Atlanta before deciding to focus on being a mom and pursue her interest in photography. Mary now is a photographer based in Brentwood, Tennessee and specializes in commercial, editorial, fine art and portrait photography. Her work has been featured in a variety of publications, including Camera Arts Magazine, American Spirit, Middle Tennessee Equestrian , Nashville Arts and Entertainment, Nashville Interiors , and Photographer's Forum. She is an Ambassador for the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she exhibited in the 2007 Abstractions Exhibit, the 2007 Members Exhibit, and the 2008 Negative Space Exhibit. Mary has won numerous photography awards, including Best Interior shot in the 2006 Shaker Workshops Photography Competition, Honorable Mentions in the categories of Architecture and Historic in the 2006 International Lucie Awards, and Best in Show for Black & White (Open/Professional) at the Tennessee State Fair. Mary is a 2007 Bogen Cafe Scholarship recipient, and has recently earned an Associates Degree in Visual Commuications with a Concentration in Photography from Nashville State Community College. She is the immediate past President of the Student Photographic Society at Nashville State and continues to serve on that board in an advisory capacity. Mary is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), the Society of Nashville's Artistic Photographers(SNAP), and the Brentwood Photography Group. |
