About

Mary is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Indiana University School of Law at Bloomington. She practiced law for several years in Atlanta before deciding to focus on being a mom and pursue her interest in photography.

Mary now is a professional photographer based in Brentwood, Tennessee specializing in commercial, editorial, fine art and portrait photography. Her work has been featured in a variety of national publications, including Camera Arts Magazine. She is an Ambassador for the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she exhibited twice in 2007, first in the Abstractions Exhibit March 30-April 28 and then in the Members Exhibit November 16-December 21. Mary has won numerous photography awards, including Best Interior shot in the 2006 Shaker Workshops Photography Competition, Honorable Mentions in the categories of Architecture and Historic in the 2006 International Lucie Awards, and Best in Show for Black & White (Open/Professional) at the 2006 Tennessee State Fair. Most recently, Mary was awarded the Bogen Cafe scholarship for her participation in the Bogen Cafe photography workshop February 21-22, 2008 at Nashville State Community College.

Mary is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), Editorial Photographers (EP), the Society of Nashville's Artistic Photographers(SNAP), the Tennessee Art League, and serves on the board of the 250+ member Brentwood Camera Club.
